BioJessica Moody is also known as Jessica Phillips, Jess, Cubby, Cubs and Pinchie (despite having broken up with that person some time ago) but not Jessie. NEVER Jessie. She is currently working as a Research Assistant for National Museums Liverpool and resides in 'The Dingle', ancestral origin of one 'Richard Starkey' who was apparently some sort of drummer. She lives there with her lovely Geordie housemate Victoria, her insane scouse rescue cat Merlin and her quiet, far more well-behaved corn snake, Oroborus.
She has a BA in Archaeology and English from Liverpool University, an MA in Cultural Heritage Management from the University of York and aspirations to do a PhD without wanting to pay for it from anywhere that will take her.
For fun and giggles she takes photographs, writes poetry, sometimes remembers to submit said poetry to magazines, reads the Guardian, writes long boring Livejournal Posts about current affairs [she likes current affairs, she thinks they're good], obsesses about what the BNP are up to, obsesses about Robin Hood in legend, ballad, film and television forms, makes photo-collages using old pictures of her family, does what passes for 'gardening' when you've only got a concrete yard, walks round Sefton Park and down Lark Lane, scours second hand shops for 'good finds', watches Friends or Scrubs with Victoria whilst eating biscuits or a tasty dinner one of them has made.
